The Lakes Park Enrichment Foundations' Mission is to enhance the beauty and experience of Lakes Park

April is here, Easter is over and many of our seasonal residents have headed back home till the fall. And here we are enjoying Spring (or is it Summer). Hard to tell with the heat and humidity!
One thing is for sure, it's April and April means a lot of things for Lakes Park.

First and foremost it’s Lakes Park’s 40th Anniversary on April 20th and we are celebrating.
Starting at 9am there will be Festivities, Vendors and Freebies. There will be a FREE Tai Chi class at 10am, FREE cake and ice cream around 11:30 for all, a FREE raffle, vendors to visit, and reduced train rides and bounce house tickets.
And at the same time, J.N. Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge will be holding its carnival in the park.

On Tuesday, April 23rd don’t miss the Florida Rep Theatre for Young Children’s FREE performance of “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day 3pm at the Amphitheater in Lakes Park. Just sign up on our website to let us know you will be there.

If you love nature you’ll love April in Lakes Park. Did you know that Lakes Park is listed as a stop on the Great Florida Birding Trail?! The birds are migrating and nesting which means there’s lots to see. Butterflies are emerging, flowers are blooming and the park is bursting with life.

Check out our website for other activities you might enjoy!
So come on out. We are looking forward to seeing you at our events.

Our Splash Pads were severely damaged by the hurricane and unfortunately must be completely demolished and replaced. We are currently in the procurement process to find a vendor for replacement. Once that is completed, we will have a better estimate as to when they will be finished.

Check back to our page https://www.leegov.com/parks/parks/lakespark for updates. We also have a splash pad at Veterans Park in Lehigh Acres- https://www.leegov.com/parks/parks/ veterans. Or we have four community swimming pools to enjoy- https://www.leegov.com/parks/pools
