The Lakes Park Enrichment Foundations' Mission is to enhance & enrich the beauty and experience of Lakes Park

Message from the President
June 2025

Dear Supporters of Lakes Park,

I hope you had a good Memorial Day and are planning some fun for the Summer. If you think it's too hot or too rainy during the summer in Florida, consider this: I just got back from a trip to Egypt, where it never rains and the summer temperatures reach 120 degrees! Humidity never looked so good. So get out and enjoy the parks, pools and beaches that Lee County Parks and Recreation provides for you.

Please take a look at the fabulous Basket for auction this month. Bidding is easy: just go to the Facebook link and place your bid in the comment section. This basket includes lots of goodies from our members and sponsors.

Summer Camp is in full swing, and if you haven’t signed your child up, see if there are still spots available. Our Foundation provides transportation for the camp kids so they can go on field trips.

The gardens are always available to enjoy, as well as the train, boats, bikes, and picnics in the park.
And it's never too early to start planning for Scarecrows in the Park this October. Get the family together and sign up to enter a Scarecrow! It's a wonderful way to bring the family together and have some fun.

Many thanks to our donors who just keep giving. We appreciate every dollar you give. We work for you, so enjoy Lakes Park whenever you can. Oh, and excuse the interruptions in the Park, there is lots of construction going on, all intended to improve your experiences!

Please see the news below and don’t hesitate to write or call us with your suggestions and comments.
Our mailing address is: PO Box 61076, Ft Myers, FL, 33906
